Penrhos Care Home is a family-owned residential care home aiming to provide the best level of care. Purpose built in 1988 set across one floor for easy access, safety, and familiarity. Our dedicated team of carers ensure a nurturing and supportive environment for our residents. Offered as a home of choice by the local authority; we take pride in striving for the highest standards of personalised care and support in a warm, safe, and comfortable home for our residents.

Admission Criteria

Local authority funded and privately funded accepted after assessment by Penrhos management to ensure resident needs are met.

17 Single Rooms and 1 Couples/Companion Rooms available for residents' comfort and convenience.

Stephen, the son of of Penrhos’ founder, takes a hands-on approach to maintaining the day-to-day operations, always ready with a calm, cheerful demeanor that fosters a stable and welcoming environment for all.

Laura, the Registered Manager, combines compassion with her expertise as a psychologist to strive for the best possible care for our residents, and excellence in every detail of the daily running of Penrhos.

Mo, the Deputy Manager, began her journey as a carer while completing her master’s degree in public health and has risen through dedication and compassion, bringing warmth and positivity to everything she does.

Together, this passionate and experienced team shares a common mission: to make Penrhos a place where families can trust their loved ones will be cared for with love, respect, and the highest standards.
